Summer in Full Swing

Summer favorites are starting to come in, and we spend more time harvesting, constructing trellising for certain crops and, of course, keeping the weeds under control. If you are a CSA member your shares will include more options this time of year and will increase in overall weight. Below are some of the crops you can expect during this month:

  • baby house salad mix

  • carrots

  • cucumbers

  • eggplant

  • garlic

  • head lettuce

  • herbs

  • hot peppers

  • onions

  • potatoes

  • scallions

  • snap beans

  • sweet peppers

  • swiss chard

  • tomatoes (heirlooms, cherries, slicers)

  • yellow and green summer squash
